BRAYBROOK, Louella Margaret

May 21, 1919 - April 20, 2019 With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother with her family by her side at Surrey Memorial Hospital. She was only weeks away from her 100th birthday. We loved her dearly and she will remain in our hearts forever. Louella Margaret was born in Baxter, Ontario to George and Henrietta Gallinger along with her twin sister Stephella (Stevie). She went on to marry our father, Jack Braybrook on September 8, 1938 and together they had six children. They moved out west in the early 1940s with five of the children as the sixth was born in B.C. Mom was predeceased by her parents, George and Henrietta; brothers Wesley and Frank, sisters Mabel, Hazel, Doris, Evelyn, Shirley, Dorothy and her twin sister Stevie. She was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Maureen. She is survived by her six children: son Ross (Janet), daughter Diane (Joe), son Bill, son Alan (Suzanne), daughter Linda (Pete), son Stephen (Rosemarie); 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn: many nieces and nephews and friends. Special thanks to the Oncology Ward on the fifth floors at Surrey Memorial Hospital and all the wonderful doctors and nurses who took such good care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation would be much appreciated. Funeral services to be held on Friday, May 10, at 1 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Ave., Surrey, B.C.
