MARTIN, Dorothy Isabelle

(nee Mills)

Born March 19, 1925 in Viking, AB. Died May 28, 2019 in Vancouver, BC at the age of 94. The matriarch of our family was very loving and caring to all who knew her. She treasured the times when all family members would gather together. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed it with friends 3 or 4 nights per week. She also worked most of her life in physically demanding jobs. She was active in the Teamsters Retiree’s Group even after Everett passed in 1997. Predeceased by her parents Ernest George Mills and Elizabeth Christine Mills (Maxwell), spouse Everett London Martin, sibling’s, Ernest (Bud) Mills and Elsie Pearse, survived by sisters, Ella Galpin and Maureen Mills, son George Martin (Carol), granddaughter Kelly Berry (Dave), great-grandsons Alex and Tyson Berry, grandson Tyler Martin (Tanya), great-grandson Parker Martin and granddaughter Jennifer, son John Martin (Pat), grandson Bob Martin, granddaughter Sheila Andrusiak (John), great-granddaughters Rylee Marchand, Quincy and Lennox Andrusiak, son Laurie Martin (Yvonne), granddaughter Leah Hodges (Mike) great-granddaughters Everleigh and Avienna Hodges and great-grandson London Hodges, grandson Paul Martin (Sally) and greatgranddaughters Ella and Hailey Martin, son Ron Martin (Debbie) granddaughters Cheri and Christie Martin. Arrangements are being handled by First Memorial Services in North Vancouver. Celebration of life to follow at a later date.
