It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jocelyn Calderhead, beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend, of Coquitlam B.C., who passed away peacefully on September 30, 2019 at Burnaby Hospital.

Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on October 9, 1963, the daughter of Sylvain and Jeanne Guimond, she is survived by her devoted and ever loving husband, Dan Calderhead and children, Evan and Isabelle as well as her brothers and sisters, George (Sherrill) Guimond, Marilyn (Bill) McFadzen, Daniel (Monique) Guimond, Paul Guimond, Phil (Jeanette) Guimond, Esther (Don) Guimond. She is predeceased by her parents, and leaves behind many nieces, nephews, inlaws and friends. She will be missed more than words can express. She loved her family dearly. She never lost her love of New Brunswick where she had strong family ties and maintained a holiday home on East Grand Lake near Forest City.

Jocelyn met Dan in Fredericton in 1983. Together they loved to travel and they married in June, 1992 in Nicosia, Cyprus while on a tour of the Mediterranean and Middle East. The family travelled widely, including Indonesia, Central America, Nepal, Europe, and many destinations in North America. Her love of the outdoors, hiking and camping, took she and her family and friends on many adventures, including to the summit of Washington State's Mt. Baker. Jocelyn always had an interest in the performing arts and supported local theater.

She had a B.A. (Hons) from U.B.C. and worked as the marketing manager for the Evergreen Cultural Centre, Coquitlam, B.C. from 1999 to 2013. She truly was an amazing girl, a light in the lives of so many.

A funeral service will be held at All Saints Parish, 821 Fairfax Street, Coquitlam, B.C. on Saturday, October 12th at 2pm. A celebration of life will be held in New Brunswick next year.

Special thanks to her medical team and all those who supported her.
