Cream drummer Ginger Baker dead at 80
Famed British drummer Ginger Baker has died at age 80.
Baker, who found fame with Eric Clapton and Jack
Bruce in the band Cream, passed away in hospital on Sunday morning, with a statement on his Twitter page confirming the news.
The rock band only survived for three years due to Baker’s volatile relationship with Bruce, but they remain one of the most influential bands of all time, with hits including I Feel Free, Strange Brew and Sunshine Of Your Love.
He is survived by his three children, Ginette, Leda and Kofi.
