CICCONE, Vittorio

On Friday, October 4, 2019, Vittorio Ciccone, loving husband and father of four children, peacefully passed away at age 85. Vittorio was born on February 19, 1934 in Amato, Catanzaro, Italy to Pietro and Leonarda. Vittorio was preceded in death by his sisters Rosaria, Fortunata, Giuseppina, Concetta, Sarverina and his brother Francesco. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Palma and his children Sarah (Rocco), Anthony (Ivana), Salvatore (Angela) and Robert (Christina). Vittorio will also be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Paolo (Sally), Marco (Maria), Vittorio, Brando, Cristiano, Alyssa and Braeden, his great-grandchildren Emily and Giuliano, and by his brother Salvatore and sister-in-law Gregoria. As well as his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. A special thank you goes out to his loving caregivers Melanie, Denebeb, Mae Flor, Marife and others. Vittorio was an amazing man. He lived with courage and purpose. He was a man of principles and values, and touched the hearts of many. Family meant everything to Vittorio who devoted his life to taking care of us. We will miss your passion, your spirit and love. Thank you so much for filling our hearts with endless happiness. We love and will miss you always. The viewing will take place Wednesday, October 9, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Bell Funeral home, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. Funeral mass is Thursday, October 10, 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 6350 Nanaimo Street, Vancouver. This will be followed by entombment at the Abbey Mausoleum Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street Burnaby.
