Niece calls Exotic ‘evil’ con man
Joe Exotic is not the cat’s meow.
The niece of the Tiger King star described the big-cat enthusiast and jailbird as “evil.” The seven-part Netflix series has been must-see TV during the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
It details the bitter feud between Exotic, 57, owner of a small Oklahoma zoo, and his nemesis, hypocrite hippie from hell Carole Baskin.
He is serving a 23-year jail sentence for conspiring to murder Baskin.
In an explosive interview with Daily Mail TV, Chealsi Putman claimed the show didn’t reveal how vile her uncle actually is.
“In the Tiger King Netflix series, you can see glimpses of his evil persona, but in real life, Joe is 100 times worse. I want people to know who the real Joe Exotic is, not the one you’ve seen on TV,” Putman said.
Among her allegations:
■ Exotic froze dead tiger cubs to sell them to taxidermists.
■ Had videos of people having sex with animals at the zoo.
■ Started out caring for animals, but later saw them only as a path to riches.
■ Exotic liked to film his sex partners while engaged in hormone-charged hijinks with other men and often took part himself.
■ Has an adult son from a relationship with a woman in Texas.
“I’ve personally witnessed Joe spray a tiger with a fire extinguisher, not out of a safety or for a life-saving reason, but because the tiger didn’t react the way Joe had wanted it to,” she said.
Exotic’s niece also said she played a role in helping the FBI arrest her uncle, who was on the lam in Florida.
“I’d do it again, he needed to be caught,” Putman said.
