LUONGO, Ada Emma

Aug. 1, 1938 - May 20, 2020

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our mother and nonna at the age of 81 in Coquitlam. Ada was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years Emilio, parents Guiseppina and Pietro, brother John, sister Maria, son-in-law Linwood. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Liana, son Tony (Dusty), grandkids Erica, Amy, Travis. Ada was born in Cozenza Italy. She immigrated to Nelson B.C. at the age of 18 where she met her husband to be Emilio. They married in 1959 and started their family. In 1966 they moved to Vancouver and in later years moved to Burnaby where they spent many happy years.

Mom was a glamorous women who loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends. Her family was her joy and legacy. We love her and will dearly miss her.

The family would like to thank the Dufferin Care Center staff for their loving care of our mother over the last year.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date
