Peter Pulos. Born November 7, 1931...died May 19, 2020. Peter was born in Calgary and attended Kitsilano High School after moving to Vancouver. He graduated in hotel and restaurant management from San Francisco University. He began his career by building the first group of homes in Tsawwassen as a speculativ­e developer. In 1970, he opened the first Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown. This restaurant was an anchor that helped Gastown succeed, and fifty years later, the Old Spaghetti Factory chain is still expanding. Peter was a longtime member of the Jericho Tennis Club, and was an active tennis player. He enjoyed hunting trips with friends, and the open road with his Jimmy, Vespa, and RV. He was also a talented handyman who could repair practicall­y anything. Peter was soft spoken, kind, and well-liked by everyone. After meeting Audrey, they spent many happy years together. He is survived by his son Paul, partner Audrey, his brothers Lee, Andy and Mike, and Audrey's grandchild­ren William and Emma.
