We would like to pay a heart-felt tribute to our dear sister and sister-in-law Micheline who died suddenly on April 3, 2020. Our inability to meet together since her passing during this pandemic period adds to our pain of losing her.

As those who have known her can attest, Micheline had a heart of gold, was always attentive and concerned for the well-being of all. She was talented and hardworking in her professional life. Many of her colleagues became lasting friends with whom she maintained close ties following her retirement in 2016. We remember Madeline, Amarjit, Angela, Laura, Viviane and many others who have appreciated and loved her. They were all important to her.

In her private life Micheline was ever busy, with non-stop projects at home and instant assistance for friends and family. After she traveled by bicycle from Montreal to Vancouver in 1969, Micheline became fast friends with several young women her age and these friendships continued with them and their families throughout the subsequent 50 years. We want to make sure that Denyse, Rod, little Taylor, Colombe, Dan and Denise, know how dear you all were to her.

Micheline deeply loved her own family, for whom she demonstrated unfailing availability, benevolence and generosity. She spared no effort to help her children and grandchildren, as well as her nieces, Danielle, Ashley and Giselle and their children, Fiona, Spencer and George.

Dear Micheline, your courage, your warmth and your great kindness will continue to inspire us. You will live in our hearts forever.

Gisèle, Michelle and Jean, Ghislaine and Jon
