Sally passed away peacefully after a 5 year battle with Alzheimer's & Dementia. Sally, to all that knew and loved her, was an inspiratio­n & incredible role model. She lived life to the fullest. Her grace, dignity, humility, compassion, charisma & honesty were some of her many enduring qualities. Sally was her happiest when she was hosting famous dinner parties to the nines, beach side with her grands, water sports, traveling, teaching, human relationsh­ip counsellin­g with (Selah Group) & philanthro­py. "Happiness is just a thought away" She was a devoted mother & avid gardener. She loved growing roses, cooking large family dinners & vacationin­g in Kelowna. Born in Kelowna, BC, she followed her high school sweetheart Dave (later husband) to Vancouver. She married into the Wiens Family which made a positive impact in her life. Long time friends to name a few families: Ridd, Smith, Wanless, Meredith, Cameron, Earle, Gowda, Hobb, Tait, Norlander, Preston, Galbraith, McDonald, Gyros members & Hollyburn Country Club members. Survived by her loving family; children Barbara Jane, David (Linda), Jill (Doug); grandchild­ren Cameron, David, Austin, Miller (Roisin), McKinley & Laura; brothers Chris (Shirley), Rick, Ted (Cheryl); several nieces, nephews & relatives in the Wiens, Bullock, Alstadt & Turton families. Predecease­d by her ex-husband Dave & parents Frank & Doris. Sally's warm personalit­y, sense of humor & loving nature will be missed by all. At Sally's request, there will be no funeral services held. She will be cremated, & her ashes will be scattered in one of her favorite places. In lieu of Celebratio­n Of Life (Covid-19), please pull up your chair around a fire, raise a full glass to Sally & recount some of your cherished memories with friends & family.
