Why not private clinics?

Why not private clinics for B.C. residents? This scheme seems to work in other countries, such as Australia and the U.K.

People with means should be allowed to choose the care they can afford. Surely this would lessen the waiting list for patients currently in line. It's a known fact that some patients die in limbo.

What ever happened to freedom of choice? Private would be a “win-win” situation for all. We need to wake up and rid ourselves of this archaic thinking and get educated to the world of medicine and science in 2020.
