Two people shot, car set on fire in Cloverdale Sunday evening
Police are investigating after shots were fired Sunday evening in Cloverdale and later linked to two injured individuals who arrived at hospital and a car that was found on fire.
Reports of shots fired were called into Surrey RCMP around 8:44 p.m. on Sunday, located in the area of 18300block 80 Avenue. Investigators on scene found evidence of gunfire and launched an investigation.
Just four minutes later, Langley RCMP were called to
Langley Memorial Hospital after two individuals arrived seeking treatment for gun shot wounds.

A few minutes later, at 9:03 p.m., Surrey RCMP were called about a car on fire in the 16500-block of Northview Crescent. Early indications are that the vehicle fire is linked to the earlier shooting.
The investigation is now being spearheaded by Surrey RCMP's serious crime unit.
