`Chillax' and focus on spread

-

Everyone seems at the ready to lay blame on government or specific groups as to the current state of the COVID pandemic.

It was the B.C. government's fault that 1.7 million people responded to the vaccination registration for that age group that totalled 55,000.

Now it's the 20-39 year olds who are being called out, as that demographic consists of 40-plus per cent of new COVID cases.

Dr. Bonnie Henry hasn't been bang on with all her calls, but from Day 1 she has preached to be kind and understanding.

Twenty to 39 year olds should be in the prime of their young and vibrant lives, but COVID has seriously impacted that. So it's no wonder their judgment has slipped and they may not be practising good COVID protocol. That doesn't mean they are public enemy Number 1.

Everyone needs to “chillax” a little and we will get through this. We all need to try a bit harder to stem the spread. Let's get `er done so we can all get back to some degree of normalcy by this summer.
