WILSON, Robert Alexander

May 11, 1946 – March 31, 2021

-

Bob passed away unexpectedly at home in North Vancouver on March 31, 2021 at the age of 74 years. He is survived by his soulmate/life partner of over 40 years, Diana McKay. He also leaves his sister, Carolyn and her four children, Kelly Holbrook (husband Lane Rud), John Holbrook, Stephen Holbrook (wife Trudy), Shannon Christian (husband Richard) and their children and grandchildren. Also missing “Uncle Bob” are extended family members Rob and Matina Busch and their children, Shea and Dayja.

Bob was employed by B.C. Rail for almost 40 years including part-time work while at university and full-time thereafter. He was a conscientious, dedicated worker who took pride in his job and always did his best.

Bob was a caring, gentle soul who was always there for anyone in need of help and support. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, kids and dogs. He treasured his Jaguar, loved cooking, reading, watching sports on TV, gardening and life in general. He was consistent in his positive outlook and encouraged others to do the same. He will be missed by so many.

A special thank you to cousin Lisa Rodrigues in England, for her wise counsel, love and support.

No service by request. Flowers gratefully declined. For those who wish, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
