It's never been easier to learn to `glow from home'
It's glow time! And this week I'm thrilled to be testing out The Glow Box from The Glamoury — a makeup and blowout salon in Vancouver. The Glamoury founder A.J. Woodworth wanted to develop a fun and easy, paraben-free product line to help all women “glow from home” and make their daily beauty routine special, even during a pandemic. And it's manufactured right here in Canada.
STEP 1
After moisturizer, I applied a few drops of Smashbox Primer Oil on my skin and used Benefit — Hello Happy Flawless Brightening Foundation in No. 3 to even out my complexion. Next, I contoured my face with the Glow Box Bronzing Powder.
STEP 2
Using a fluffy shadow blender brush, I applied the matte-brown eyeshadow called Nu to the entire eyelid, into the crease area and along the lower lash line. I then applied the lighter eyeshadow called Wana onto the brow bone and blended it into the crease to create a seamless colour transition. This is one of my favourite and easiest ways to create beautiful and neutral smoky look.
STEP 3
I filled in the sparse areas of my eyebrows using the brow gel, and used the same product to thinly line my lower lash line. I curled my lashes and coated them with black mascara — both products come in this box.
STEP 4
To complete the look, I applied Benefit — Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer No. 3 to brighten under my eyes, followed by the Glow Highlighter Powder on the high points of my face. I gave my skin a misting of setting spray and applied a sheer coat of the nude lip gloss on my lips.
COMPLETED LOOK
The Glamoury Glow Box retails for $195. Boxes are available in three colour options and contain a bronzing powder, Glow Highlighter Powder, two eyeshadows, brow/eyeliner, mascara and a lip gloss.
