With sadness we announce the loss of our family's finest jewel, Thelma Lade, who passed comfortably in her sleep on April 3, at The Residence at Morgan Heights in Surrey.

Her life was distinctly defined by "music and family", and she left a remarkable legacy in both. In the words of a song she played so well, "Make me a blessing to someone today", this was the theme of her life. A beautiful, selfless, hard-working and talented lady who never failed to offer her smile and bring a chuckle with her quick wit and subtle, uncontainable sense of humour!

She will be most remembered for her incredible skills on the piano and organ, blessing thousands of people with her playing, both professionally and in volunteer service to the church. She never stopped playing, joking, and dressing up every day through to her last! A gem in a special generation who will long be remembered, respected, and missed! We thank her for her shining example and for her unwavering love and devotion to her faith and family!

Predeceased by husband Paul and survived by their children Wes Lade (Carol), Darlene Pekrul (Al), Melodie Richards (Dave), Laurel Thomas (Jim, deceased), Carol Carlson (Julian), 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and numerous beloved in-laws.

To leave a condolence message see https://www.dignitymemorial.com Regrettably due to COVID no public service is possible at this time.

Honour their memory!
