WOODS (nee Wilkinson), Dolores Theresa

Dolores (Dolly) was born in Regina, SASK. and passed away peacefully in Nanaimo, B.C. She was predeceased by her second husband Maurice (2011) and by her siblings; Garth, Laural and Bruce. Of paramount importance to Dolores was family, she was a devoted mother and loved to host massive dinners for all occasions, these were bursting with all levels of extended family. The highlight of summers were holidays at White Rock with all the children as well as time spent on Gabriola Island with numerous relatives.

Later Dolores took up "birding" as well as her lifelong dream of travelling which led her to very exotic countries around the world. Eventually Dolores reconnected with a family friend, Maurice Woods. They eloped together and began a new chapter in her life. Travel continued and she was never short on stories based on true life experiences. Dolores is survived by her children; Brian (Arlene), David, Cheryl (Dennis), Steven (Isabella) Marcia, Julia (Lance), and Laura, as well as her grandchildren Brendan, Jason, Kristen, Justin, Kaela, Leah, Katrina, Alexa, Jesse and greatgrandchildren Ashton, Isla, Dylan, Amelia, Luke and Alia.
