But with so much to do, visitors will need more than a weekend to take in the various sights and activities this mountain town has to offer. To ensure you don’t miss out (and to inspire your itinerary), we’ve compiled a list of eight can’t-miss activities to fit into your Whistler trip this summer.

1. Sightseein­g on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains

2. Dining al fresco on Whistler patios

No trip to Whistler is complete without enjoying their quintessen­tial outdoor patios — get your dose of sun in while you eat!

3. Horseback riding

Did you know Whistler has horseback riding? Whether you’re an experience­d equestrian or have yet to mount your first steed, Whistler offers various guided trails, from a one-hour ride to a full-day on horseback.

4. Tackling the trails at Whistler Mountain Bike Park

enced bikers, Whistler offers two new lesson types aimed at helping adult riders safely advance their skill on both flow and tech trail riding. Be sure to check what trails are open before you come. Current bike park hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

5. Viewing art at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre

If you haven’t been to the

Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre yet, join them for an afternoon of history, art and culture with hourly tours from First Nations ambassador­s.

6. Ziplining through the forest

Is it really a trip to Whistler without ziplining? There’s no better way to take in Whistler’s gorgeous landscapes than flying through them!

No experience required to enjoy this exhilarati­ng adventure.

7. Eating your way through a Whistler Tasting Tour

If you can’t decide which restaurant­s to dine at, opt for a tasting tour!

This favourite activity gives you the option to stroll to several different spots to sample local cuisine.

8. See the mountains on a side x side UTV tour
