VERHEUL, Janice Mary

It is with great sadness that we announce Janice Mary Verheul passed away on March 1, 2022 at the age of 83. She is survived by her loving husband George Verheul, her son Glenn Verheul (Cindy), her second son Gordon Verheul, and grandchildren Tegan, Nicola (Corey), Ava, and Liam. She is predeceased by her parents Bob and Janet Mackie, and brother Rex Mackie. Born on January 9, 1939 in New Westminster, B.C., Janice graduated from Trapp Tech Technical School. She married George on October 6th, 1957 in New Westminster and soon after had their two sons. They started with nothing but each other, and embarked on an exciting journey that would bring them great happiness and adventure. Together, Janice and George travelled the world and made memories in their cabin at Lake Erroch with many lifelong friends. They lived in homes in Delta, Surrey, Salt Spring Island, Palm Springs, and Point Roberts.

Janice loved curling, golf, tennis, and bridge, and was a devoted grandmother to her four grandchildren. Janice enjoyed a life surrounded by loving family and friends and her spirit lives on in all our hearts.
