Second man now charged in death
A second man has been charged in a fatal assault that took place in Vancouver's CRAB Park over the weekend.
Police were sent to the Downtown Eastside park on Saturday around 10:20 a.m. after a 45-year-old man had been assaulted.
Andrew Wadden suffered life-threatening injuries in the assault and was declared dead at the scene a short time later.
A day later, Eric Kim, 26, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
On Tuesday, Vancouver police announced a second man had been arrested and charged in Wadden's death.
David Bentil, 18, is also charged with second-degree murder.
It's unknown if Wadden and the suspects were known to each other. Police also have not released a specific cause of death.
Wadden's death was Vancouver's fourth homicide of 2022.
