Give your skin that youthful glow

- ALEESHA HARRIS

What it is: Bondi Sands, the Australian brand known for its sunless tanning products, has launched a skin care collection in Canada.

Dubbed Everyday skin care, the collection includes 12 products ranging from facial serums and moisturizers, to creams, oils, cleansers, masks and more. Billed as being suitable for all skin types, the products feature “Australian natural botanicals” and are said to be “powered by science-backed ingredients.”

The colourfully packaged products — which feature 100-per-cent recyclable post-consumer packaging — are divided into five categories to target individual uses and skin concerns: Cleanse, Treat, Hydrate, Protect, and Mask.

What we say: Our tester put a variety of these skin care products to the test.

The Buff' n Polish Gentle Chemical Exfoliant, which features active ingredients such as cherry blossom, AHA and PHA, was gentle yet effective. Producing a slight tingle on the skin, she found her face appeared more smooth and soft after application.

The Fountain of Youth Restoring Bakuchiol Serum, boasting the natural retinol alternative bakuchiol along with Rosella extract, left her pores appearing noticeably smaller and her skin feeling softer.

But it was The Eye Spy Eye Cream, with ingredients including vitamin C, green coffee bean and carrot oil, that was the “star of the show,” our tester reports. The lightweight cream features light-reflecting pigments that instantly brighten the appearance of your eyes and make you look more awake, while moisturizing ingredients help to smooth.
