BELL, Euphemia (Effie)

Effie Bell died peacefully on May 7, 2022, at the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation Lodge in Surrey, BC. She celebrated her 99th birthday in February.

Born in Trail, BC on February 10, 1923, Effie later moved with her family to Vancouver. Over the years she lived and worked in several cities around the province, but ultimately returned to the coast.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sister May (Ernie), brothers Archie, Bob, and Ron, and her son-in-law (Ken Doern).

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Pat Doern, Surrey, BC, and Sharon (Al) Oliver, Chase, BC along with grandchildren Doug, Todd (Jennifer), Darren (Cathy), Debra (Cheryl), Jeff (Rose), Koby (Dan) and Dulaine (Pat), as well as greatgrandchildren.

Pat and Sharon would like to thank the medical professionals and caregivers who treated and respectfully cared for our Mum for many years. We especially express our gratitude to those at her final home, Peace Arch Foundation Lodge. Your kind and caring hearts are so very appreciated.

To honour and celebrate our Mum's life, there will be a gathering at a later date.
