CALBICK, Dorothy Jean

May 3, 1930 - May 8, 2022

Born in Vancouver on May 3rd, 1930 to Walter and Agnes Hansen. Dorothy passed peacefully on May 8, 2022, after a difficult few months. Predeceased by her loving husband Ross, Dorothy will be deeply missed by her family, son Michael (Debi) daughters Kathy, Julie Lusk(Graeme) grandchildren Dani (Devon), Kevin (Jenn) Kelley, and Sean, great-grandchildren Henry, Nathan, and Ben. Family and friends were Dorothy's passion and her and Ross spent many years hosting everyone at their family home in Burnaby, their cabin on Okanagan Lake, and later at their Surrey retirement condo. Dorothy met Ross in Grade 11, they married on May 25, 1951 and were married for almost 65 years. Dorothy had a great zest for life and she was keen to learn new things her whole life. We will all miss her very much and cherish all of our wonderful memories together. A small family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart Foundation or Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
