KNIGHT, Timothy James Scott ("Tickety-Boo")

November 20, 1950 - November 11, 2021

Tim, 70, passed on November 11, 2021 after a long fight with Hepatocellular carcinoma, liver cancer.

He was born at Bradford, Yorkshire, England on Nov 20, 1950 to Dr Geoffrey Knight and Christina Knight. He was 6 weeks premature and the biggest baby in the ward. Tim was a boarder at Berkhamsted School for boys where he was active in the choir, swimming program and rugby team. All these passions carried on through his entire life.

As a young adult, Tim began studying to be a charted accountant; it didn't take long him for him to realize that wasn't for him. He then joined the Hertfordshire police. He left the police force as a detective and immigrated to Canada. Immigrating to Canada he joined his parents and sister's family: Rosalind Watkins, Andrew Watkins, James Watkins, Alex Watkins, and Rebecca Watkins. While looking at his career prospects with some formal accounting training and police investigation; Canada Revenue was a natural choice. He remained there until he retired after receiving the Queens Jubilee award.

In the early 80's Tim met his late wife Ann Burley (Knight) and was blessed with a son, Geoffrey Knight. Geoffrey was also premature but the tiniest baby in the ward. Tragically 4 years after their son's birth Ann lost her battle with Bone Cancer.

In the early 90's Tim met his wife, Geraldine. Tim welcomed her two children as his own: Tracy Martyn and Scott Martyn. They resided in Walnut Grove for 25 years before retiring to a small "retirement" house in Fort Langley. Tim felt at home with family looking out at the mountains and relaxing at his home in Fort Langley.

He is survived by his wife, his mother, two sons, daughter, five grandsons and three granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his father, late wife, many friends, relatives, and multiple cocker spaniels over the years.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday May 15, 2022 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at the Fort Langley Community Hall.
