Rust producer aims to finish film
Producers of the movie Rust are planning to complete the project.
Production halted on the Western last October after actor Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun, accidentally killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Hutchins' family is suing Baldwin and the film's producers for wrongful death.
“The investigation will hopefully be resolved soon and will unveil what happened,” producer Anjul Nigam told The Hollywood Reporter.
“Obviously, there will be people out there who will have negative perspectives, but we're confident about continuing to make quality movies. We're confident we'll be able to complete the movie.”
