It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Patricia Louise Jenkinson on May 1/2022 surrounded by her loving family. Patricia(Patsy)was born in (St. Paul's Hospital) Vancouver on October 29th, 1947 to proud parents, Merle and Barbara McCannell. Patsy's family grew in 1954 with the birth of her brother, David. During her early years, Patsy enjoyed family gatherings and outings, particularly, vacations fishing and camping at Mara Lake. In her teens she attended Prince of Wales High School where she made many lifelong friends. Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Colin and three wonderful children, Brian (Maya & Cole), Sarah (Kevin & Brody ), Amy (Cooper) and her brother David (Sandra). Patsy and Colin met each other in 1967 and were married on Oct. 24/1970 and from that moment on, they created an inseparable bond for the next fifty-two years. Patsy joined Canadian Pacific Airlines in 1969 and with numerous travel opportunities, they both travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Hawaii and Mexico. They had a wonderful life together full of love and travel. Patsy retired from CP air in 1975 to focus on raising a family. When Colin retired from the Vancouver Fire Dept in 1998 it was to be able to spend more time with each other and to enjoy boating and everything else that life has to offer. They both truly loved Puerto Vallarta, Mexico only to become "Snowbirds" and Patsy, created a lovely, warm, beautiful condo which became our families second home. Patsy enjoyed nothing more than sitting on her deck in Mexico and our only hope is that she is resting eternally in her favourite place. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart And Stroke Foundation. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 12 at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, 3811 Point Grey Rd. @11:30-2:30
