GRIFFITHS, William Joseph Robert (Bill)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Griffiths from Langley, BC at the age of 83.

Bill was born and raised in Vancouver, BC by parents Olive and Ernest Griffiths. Bill married Carole in 1959. Together they raised 3 children, Susan, Katherine & Jennifer.

Bill started work at BC Ferries in 1961, and was proud to be a volunteer firefighter for Surrey during the 60's & 70's. They moved to Langley in 1979 and he retired from BC Ferries as a Marine Engineering Officer in 1995. Bill was a loving, hard working man with a sense of humour that lit up a room. Bill enjoyed spending his time with his wife, family and friends and spent his retirement years travelling, enjoying his gardens and koi ponds. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his wife, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends, relatives, and neighbours

Memorial 12pm - 1pm, Reception 1pm 3pm on May 27, 2022 at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley, BC
