Glow Recipe Strawberry Smooth BHA +AHA Salicylic Serum

What it is: A facial serum from Glow Recipe that features a 10 per cent “clarity acid complex” with two per cent salicylic acid and mandelic acid, along with strawberry, azelaic acid and succinic acid.

The gentle skin-smoothing serum is billed as being able to clear breakouts, refine pores and calm skin. Added ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and allantoin hydrate and soothe skin. Bottled in recyclable packaging, the product is vegan and cruelty-free.

What we say: Already a fan of Glow Recipe products, our tester was excited to try this serum.

Subbed into her skincare routine in place of her usual serum, she found a few drops gave skin an instant boost. Despite its active ingredients skewing toward mostly acids, she found it was still very gentle on her reactive skin. The acids help to remove dead skin, revealing softer, clearer skin.
