DLUGON, Emily Anne

December 19, 1924 - May 5, 2022

Emily Anne Dlugon passed away peacefully on May 05, 2022 in her 98th year, in Tsawwassen, BC.

She was born December 19, 1924 to Louis & Carol in Mundare, Alberta

Emily relocated to BC in her 20's lived in Vancouver, Richmond & Delta. She raised 3 daughters Judy (Harold), Wendy (Don), Terrie (Ron), loved & adored her grandsons Trev, Jeff (Aliez) & great grandson Oscar.

She had many nieces & nephews, kept in touch & shared in their lives throughout the years.

Mom was independent, curious, adventurous & strong before it was fashionable for women to be so. She liked to get things done & didn't suffer fools gladly. She worked hard to instill these traits in her daughters and made it easy by always being there to catch us if we fell.

Emily was a talented knitter, and a great cook. For a number of years she catered events at Francis Hall in Richmond, alongside her Mom, and sisters Mary & Flo.

When her daughters were old enough to fend for themselves Emily worked in retail & retired at age 70.

Emily lived a long and healthy life and was an inspiration to everyone she met she was one of a kind. We love her now & always.
