GUY, Reverend John

Of Surrey, British Columbia, passed away on 26 October 2020, age 90.

John was born in 1930 in Nelson England, to Ada (Hudson) and George Guy. Beloved husband of Sanae Guy, he was a United Church of Canada minister, a university chaplain, and an activist for peace.

John is survived by his sister Muriel Guy; son Neil Guy and daughter Naomi Guy; son Mark Guy and daughter Rebecca Ann Guy by a previous marriage; grandchildren Ethan James Guy, Sarah Jane Stanger Guy and Jonathon Mark Thorne Stanger Guy; and daughter in law Jennifer Savage. He is predeceased by his parents and son in law Gabe Sobieski. He is dearly missed; the world is better for his life.

A celebration of life will be held May 21, 2022, 2pm. Kwomais Lodge, Surrey.
