HUNTER, Garnett Walter (Garn)

Garnett Walter Hunter, affectionately know as either Gunner or Papa or Grandpa, passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on Monday, May 16, 2022. Garn was predeceased by his wife of 32 years, Joy, his brother, Wayne, and first wife Karin. He is deeply missed by his daughters, Leah, Nicole, and sons, Brad and Kent. By the spouses, Jeff, Richard, and Noreen. And he will be missed by his grandchildren Melissa, Calvin, Thomas, Christina, Evan, Hannah, and Caleb. As well as Garn's many life-long friends from the Lions Gate Hospital and Summit. Many will share warm memories of Garn at the track or casino, or Wally's Burgers or for his fondness for a butterhorn at Nickel's Bakery. A celebration of life will be held from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on July 9 at Gibbons Layne, 102 - 20281 53A Ave., Langley.
