MEERS, Russell Ronald

March 13, 1961 - March 8, 2022

On March 8, 2022 we lost Russ in a tragic and untimely workplace accident. He was a loving father, doting grandfather, devoted son, generous brother and caring partner.

Russ led an interesting life with many different areas of interest but the venture he was most proud of was his form rental company.

Approximately 25 years ago Russ started All West Form Rentals, working from the back of a hitched trailer, hand-bombing forms, with no employees. He loved what he did and was able to build the business into a successful company with multiple employees. Known on job sites for his big smile and showing up in the summer wearing a cowboy hat; he brought laughter and smiles to all those that knew him.

Russ is survived by his fiancée, Catherine Pallen, the love of his life, and his beloved daughters, Amanda and Emily (Emiliano). Amanda's daughters (Russ's adored granddaughters) Shyla and Vienna. His mother Ruby Meers, his 3 sisters: Val (Brian), their children John and Keely; Shannon, and her children, Shelby and Matt; and Tracy (Randy) and their children Zach and Austin. He was predeceased by his father Ronald Meers.

Russ was a supporter of the BC Children's Hospital Lottery so In lieu of flowers a donation to BC Children's Hospital or your favourite charity if you choose would be appreciated.

A celebration of life will be held from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM on 2022-06-17 at Newlands Golf and Country Club, 21025 48 Ave, Langley, BC. We would like to invite you to share something about Russ that is special to you; how you met, a funny story or a shared experience for example.
