STARR, Geoffrey Raymond (Geoff)

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Geoff after a lengthy illness. Geoff is survived by Teresa, his wife of 47 years, his children, Rob (Robynne), Dan, and Lisa Doell (Luke) and the joys of his heart, his grandchildren, William and Meadow. Geoff was born in London, England and came to Canada at age four, with his parents. He graduated from school in Langley and attended Construction Management at Douglas College, working as an estimator for a number of construction companies in the lower mainland. Geoff had a strong work ethic and was proud of his many accomplishments. He was happiest when at the cabin on Gambier Island or on Keawakapu Beach in Maui. He loved his Harley and rode solo across Canada two years ago. Geoff requested no funeral be held. The family will hold a private memorial for Geoff at a later date on Gambier Island.
