Forward Tyler Toomey was the latest Tikis player to get an accolade as he was named the cchL2’s third star of the week for last week, between Jan. 1 and 6. That game was his sixth multi-point game of the season. he scored his seventh multi-point game this past Wednesday when he picked up two assists in a 6-5 shootout win at home against the Winchester hawks. Toomey is second on the Tikis for points with 36. The hillsburgh, ont. native was recently listed as an honourable mention as the cchL2’s top rookie for december. Brockville has had a player named one of the stars of the week in three of the last four editions the accolade has been handed out.
