The Burin Peninsula District RCMP and Burin Peninsula Traffic Services responded to a complaint of dangerous driving.
The police were called out to Rushoon May 16 after a report a yellow sport type motorcycle was driving erratically in the community.
As a result of members of the public providing statements, a 23-year-old male from Rushoon has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle under the Criminal Code of Canada.
The male is scheduled to appear in Grand Bank Provincial Court Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Police received a complaint of an attempted break and enter on By D’Rock Cafe in Burin.
Sometime between 7:30 p.m. June 15 and 11 a.m. June 16, someone attempted to break into the cafe causing property damage. Entry was not gained into the business.
