Adopt-a-spot program expanding

The Southern Gazette - - NEWS -

The Burin Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is expanding its ‘ Adopt-A-Spot’ Program to the whole peninsula.

The Adopt-A-Spot program is aimed at reducing litter and beautifying open spaces within the Burin Peninsula region.

Many of the current members are businesses and organizations throughout the Marystown-Burin area that have Adopt-A-Spots, but since the Chamber has expanded its boundaries to the whole Peninsula, south of Swift Current, the Adopt-A-Spot program is looking to expand as well.

As part of the Adopt-A-Spot program, you will be given a sign to erect at your spot in honour of your hard work and dedication. This sign will show others you are a responsible business/organization and you care about the area in which you live.

It would be sure to catch the eye of many passersby and they would distinctly remember you as an advocate of your environment and want to do business with you.

The Burin Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is the voice in this region, promoting prosperity, growth and business excellence.

It does this through communication, knowledge, networking among members, advocating and promoting the business intersects of its members.
