Lundrigan shoots well at nationals
Erin Lundrigan put up excellent scores in the first two days of the Royale Cup Canadian Women’s Amateur Championships but failed to make the cut.
Lundrigan, the provincial Women’s Amateur Champion two years running, led the four-person Newfoundland and Labrador to the national event in Kingsville, Ontario, July 2630. The tournament had 145 golfers registered.
She posted rounds of 84 (40, 44) and 82 (41, 41) over the two days but ended up at 22 over par, seven strokes about the cut line.
