R & R Au­to­body re­mains on top in rec hockey

R & R Au­to­body so­lid­i­fied its hold on first place in the over­all team stand­ings in the Marys­town Recre­ation Hockey League with a 4-3 vic­tory over cel­lar dwelling Rogers Farm. Matthew Hack­ett man­aged two goals for Rogers, as the game’s top scorer.

Ken­way’s North At­lantic bat­tled R & R to a 7-7 draw. Danny Row­lands, with three tal­lies, and two more from Jeff Ap­pleby paced North At­lantic. Adam Se­nior and Michael Legge both had hat-tricks for R & R.

Tony Green’s two goals al­lowed Ken­way’s North At­lantic to squeeze by Cen­tral Video 43.

In the other game, Rogers Farm de­feated Cen­tral Video 7-4 be­hind two goal ef­forts from Norm Lace and Nathan Paul. Joe Strick­land had three of the Video squad’s tal­lies.
