Cut­ting Edge skaters cap­ture bronze

The For­tune-grand Bank Cut­ting Edge Fig­ure Skat­ing Club, based out of the For­tune Arena, con­tin­ues to do well at com­pe­ti­tions.

Three skaters trav­elled to the Jack Byrne Arena in Tor­bay Mar. 4-6 to com­pete in provin­cials. Kel­lie Rose com­peted in Ju­nior Bronze Women’s, 12 years and younger; Tay­lor Hil­lier was in Pre­lim­i­nary Women’s 10 and 11 years while Mar­shall Miles was en­tered in Pre­lim­i­nary Men’s 12 years and older.

Hil­lier and Rose were each awarded the ‘El­iz­a­beth Swan Me­mo­rial Award’, as top skaters in their age groups for the com­pe­ti­tion.

Rose and Mar­shall both placed third in their di­vi­sions, and each brought home a bronze medal.
