Need a Summer Job? Host a Summer Camp!

The Southern Gazette - - NEWS - BY EVAN WAY Evan Way is the Regional Coordinator for Burin Peninsula Youth Ventures.

Do you have a special skill? One that can be transferred on to others?

Why not host a summer camp and teach others what you know!

There are many areas in your town that are available to be used for theory and hands on sessions for the camps. Many people have camps for sports, arts and crafts, performing arts and other teachable skills.

If you are good with people, enjoy teaching other people and have great organizational skills, this would be a great business opportunity for you. Some things to remember would be:

- Always specify the level that you are teaching at.

- Make sure you don’t take on more people than you can handle.

- Have a schedule of events and make sure you stay as organized as possible.

If this interests you, Youth Ventures can help!
