Jo­hanna’s Ride the Boot to be big­gest yet

“We’re ex­pect­ing be­tween four and five hun­dred mo­tor­cy­cles. That’s the big­gest yet.”

Last year, Jo­hanna’s Ride raised some $30,000 for Camp De­light, a camp for chil­dren with can­cer op­er­ated by the Can­dle­lighters As­so­ci­a­tion of New­found­land and Labrador.

Mr. Nose­wor­thy said or­ga­niz­ers are hop­ing to bet­ter that mark this year and pos­si­bly reach as high as $50,000.

Since its in­cep­tion, he noted the event has raised over $100,000 for char­ity.
