All fuels rise again!
The summer’s roller coaster of gas pump prices continues as the Public Utilities Board’s fair/carnival continues its tour of the province.
After removing two cents a litre from the price of gas the previous week, the PUB set maximum prices for all regulated petroleum products again Thursday tacking on that same two cents.
Burin Peninsula motorists now open their wallets at the pumps to pay $1.391 for regular self-serve and $1.421 for full service. Diesel is listed at $1.391 after being pushed up 2.6 cpl.
It’s the middle of summer but heating fuels were risen 2.28 cpl so peninsula residents are being charged $1.0609 for furnace oil and $1.109 for stove oil. Another cent a litre for propane for users to be billed 75.8 cpl. The next scheduled price change is this Thursday.
