All fu­els rise again!

The sum­mer’s roller coaster of gas pump prices con­tin­ues as the Pub­lic Util­i­ties Board’s fair/car­ni­val con­tin­ues its tour of the prov­ince.

Af­ter re­mov­ing two cents a litre from the price of gas the pre­vi­ous week, the PUB set max­i­mum prices for all reg­u­lated pe­tro­leum prod­ucts again Thurs­day tack­ing on that same two cents.

Burin Penin­sula mo­torists now open their wal­lets at the pumps to pay $1.391 for reg­u­lar self-serve and $1.421 for full ser­vice. Diesel is listed at $1.391 af­ter be­ing pushed up 2.6 cpl.

It’s the mid­dle of sum­mer but heat­ing fu­els were risen 2.28 cpl so penin­sula res­i­dents are be­ing charged $1.0609 for fur­nace oil and $1.109 for stove oil. An­other cent a litre for propane for users to be billed 75.8 cpl. The next sched­uled price change is this Thurs­day.
