Horse owner forced to erect electric fence

The Southern Gazette - - EDITOR’S VIEWPOINT - Editor; Elaine Cluett, Frenchman’s Cove Disgusted horse owner

Last year I asked you to allow me room in your paper to get a message across to the public. Now I am asking you again.

People are ignoring my request to stop feeding my horse after signs were torn down; new ones I replaced were also torn down.

They are still feeding her garbage. As of last month she was on medication and cannot have anything except hay much less the junk people are giving her when I am not around.

I also posted on the Facebook front page so anyone on Facebook can see it. I have tried to be somewhat polite, but no one gets the message.

I am now putting up electric fence 10 feet inside my regular fence to keep her from going close to the main fence.

Also there well be MORE SIGNS put up and warnings there is an electric fence.

There well be no access for anyone except myself. All gates will be secured to keep the public out. Keep out and no trespassing signs will also be put up. As I said before, they can take pictures but that is all.
