Through three recycling drives, pre-teen and teen dances and sponsorships from Scotia- bank and the provincial government, the committee reached its goal early this past summer.

Scotiabank’s Grand Bank staff, through the bank’s Team Community Program, matched the $1,760 raised by the committee for a total of $3,520.

Scotiabank staff also volunteered their time for the pre-teen and teen dance fundraisers.

The committee offered a special thank you to the Town of Fortune for its support and to everyone else who helped them reach their goal.
