Eyre tours en­ergy sec­tor spots across the re­gion

demon­strated their re­siliency de­spite the daily chal­lenges they face.

“I guess the most im­por­tant thing in terms of re­silience is not get­ting too neg­a­tive. Re­main­ing op­ti­mistic about what can hap­pen and what we can try to do. But its been a dif­fi­cult time, so ab­so­lutely the sec­tor’s re­silient be­cause they have been thrown a num­ber of chal­lenges in re­cent years.”

She added that one of her take aways from her tour was the re­siliency of the sec­tor in the Southwest.

“The hos­pi­tal­ity of the peo­ple down here. The amaz­ing re­silience…and en­ergy and in­no­va­tion and ca­pac­ity for such op­por­tu­nity,” she said. “There’s a real en­trepreneurial sense that one gets here in the Southwest.”
