Ban­tam AA Bron­cos win sixth straight

The Swift Cur­rent Pure Chem Bron­cos capped a busy week­end with their sixth straight vic­tory in the Saskatchewan Ban­tam AA Hockey League.

Play­ing their sixth game in four days, the Bron­cos used a six-goal sec­ond pe­riod to de­feat the vis­it­ing Melville Mil­lion­aires on Sun­day evening.

Kalan Lind led the Bron­cos with two goals and two as­sists, fol­lowed by a goal and two as­sists each from Dayne Fe­icht and Daniel Gan­ert. Mckale Paul, Carter Lam­otte, and Ay­den La­marre each added a goal and an as­sist, while Kane Klassen, Ri­ley Bow­ers, and Rhett Dekowny each added two as­sists.

Nolan Steven­son and Colton Leahy also scored. Colby Wat­son picked up the win with 20 saves.

The Bron­cos im­proved to 6-2-0, while Melville fell to 3-10-0.

The Bron­cos had been in Medicine Hat for a tour­na­ment where they fin­ished with three wins and two losses, capped by a 5-4 win over Pur­suit of Ex­cel­lence Ban­tam Prep on Sun­day.

The Bron­cos will re­turn to league ac­tion on De­cem­ber 8 when they re­turn the visit to Melville. They will host their an­nual home tour­na­ment this week­end.
