Pee­wee Bron­cos split with War­riors

The Swift Cur­rent South­west Ter­mi­nal Bron­cos split a home-and-away set against the Moose Jaw War­riors last week in the Saskatchewan Pee­wee AA Hockey League.

Wed­nes­day, the Bron­cos were un­able to dig them­selves out of an early hole in a loss to the vis­it­ing War­riors. The Bron­cos al­lowed the open­ing three goals in a 4-3 loss.

Kade Stringer scored twice, while Hud­son Darby also scored in the loss. Pey­ton Keller, Parker Ron­deau, and Ry­der Woods all picked up as­sists.

Satur­day, the Bron­cos won the re­match 5-4 on in Moose Jaw as the teams traded the lead through­out the game. Cut­ter Knight scored the only goal of the third pe­riod, his sec­ond of the game, to give the Bron­cos the lead for good.

Stringer fin­ished with a goal and an as­sist and Ron­deau and Darby each as­sisted on a pair of goals. Eas­ton Lee and Wes­ley Ol­son also scored, while Mak­str Mcin­tyre added an as­sist. Calder Jones earned the win in goal.

The Bron­cos fin­ished the week­end with a 6-4-0 record, while Moose Jaw moved to 3-6-2.
