United soc­cer teams back on the pitch

The Swift Cur­rent United Soc­cer Club had four teams in ac­tion over the week­end.

The Bor­der Creek United U13 and U15 Boys were in Saska­toon for the Hol­lan­dia Off the Wall Tour­na­ment.

The U15 Boys fin­ished with two draws and one loss in Saska­toon. Fri­day, they tied their opener 3-3 against the Saska­toon Hol­lan­dia Ch­esters and then tied Hol­lan­dia Percy 4-4.

They con­cluded the tour­na­ment on Satur­day with a 5-3 loss to As­tra Upp.

The U13 Boys fin­ished with a 1-2-1 record to place fourth. They dropped their opener 4-3 to Hol­lan­dia Hoff and then fell 5-3 to As­tra Academy.

The U13 Boys tied Hol­lan­dia Humm 1-1 on Sun­day morn­ing and then de­feated White­caps Academy 4-3.

Two United girl’s teams also hosted Regina FCR for ex­hi­bi­tion games on Sun­day.

The U15 Girls lost their open­ing game 1-0 to FCR and then lost 2-0 in the af­ter­noon re­match.

The U17 United Girls won their open­ing game 1-0 and fol­lowed up with a sec­ond 1-0 vic­tory in the af­ter­noon.

The United Soc­cer Club will be back at home this week­end to host Regina QC in an­other club day.
