Pee­wee Bron­cos all even with Ter­ri­ers

The Swift Cur­rent South­west Ter­mi­nal Bron­cos tied both league games against the vis­it­ing York­ton Ter­ri­ers over the week­end.

The Pee­wee Bron­cos tied the Ter­ri­ers 6-6 on Satur­day. Jake Starke led the Bron­cos with a goal and two as­sists, fol­lowed by two goals from Eas­ton Lee and a goal and an as­sist from Kade Stringer. Wes­ley Ol­son also scored. Hud­son Darby, Carter Tu­plin, Ry­der Woods, and Parker Ron­deau all fin­ished with two as­sists, while Cut­ter Knight added a sin­gle helper.

Sun­day, the two teams were un­able to pro­duce a win­ner for the sec­ond straight game in a 3-3 draw. Lee, Starke, and Ol­son all scored for the Bron­cos. Ry­der Rom­mealaere as­sisted on two goals, while Knight, Brady Simp­son, and Woods all added as­sists. Ber­ney We­ston earned the tie in goal.

The Bron­cos fin­ished the week­end in third in the Saskatchewan Pee­wee AA Hockey League South Divi­sion with a 6-4-2 record.

The Bron­cos will be back at home on Dec. 12 against the Moose Jaw War­riors at 6:45 p.m. at Fairview East Arena.
