Ban­tam Colts skate past Fly­ers and Bearcats

The Swift Cur­rent Colts picked up a pair of lop­sided wins in the Saskatchewan Fe­male Ban­tam A Hockey League over the week­end.

Satur­day, the Colts got goals from eight dif­fer­ent skaters in a 10-2 win over the Mile­stone Fly­ers. An­nika Kirk picked up the win in goal.

Bro­gan Carl­son led the way with two goals and two as­sists. Tea­gan Paul scored twice and Pais­ley Arntsen reg­is­tered two as­sists. Sadie Keller, Ab­bie No­ble, and Olivia Kir­wan all added a goal and an as­sist each.

Mya Brown, Tess Bakus, and Marie Tsougri­a­nis also scored, while Che­nielle Elviss, Mya Gi­rard, and Chloe Shu­maker all added as­sists.

Sun­day, the Colts fol­lowed up with a 7-1 win over the Este­van Bearcats, led by a hat trick from Keller. Elviss, Arntsen, Paul, and Kir­wan each had a goal and an as­sist, while Kirk earned an­other win in goal. No­ble added an as­sist.

The Colts fin­ished the week­end in se­cond spot in the South Divi­sion with an 11-2-1 record. They will re­turn to league ac­tion on Jan. 2.
